Joelle Salon owner and stylist Dona Bullock and stylist Mandie "Joelle" Powell have been selected as stylists for Miss Alabama in the Miss America 2012 Pageant in Las Vegas! Miss Alabama, Courtney Porter, has been a phenomenal asset to Joelle Salon. We have had the great pleasure to meet this adorable and intelligent young lady through The Clothes Tree by Deborah, Birmingham, Alabama. This great opportunity has led to such a wonderful moment amongst the Team at Joelle Salon. The Miss America Organization represents the very best of intelligent, savvy, modern young women. This is a full representation of what Joelle Salon is encompassing! Because you are a HUGE part of Joelle Salon, we would love to share OUR EXCITING NEWS!!!

Wonderful things are coming through the doors of Joelle Salon! Through all the recognition of sponsoring Courtney Porter (Miss Alabama), Joelle Salon has now been asked to work with Mrs. Alabama America. The start of 2012 has been unbelievable and this Saturday, January 14th we will not only be in Las Vegas, Nevada, but we will also be here locally in Pelham, Alabama creating styles for the future contestants of Mrs. Alabama Pageant. Jessica Lazarus (Stylist), Molly Cashio (Stylist), and Chelsea Cole (Stylist) will be creating stunning styles. Congratulations Joelle Salon and the girls of such creativity and talent.
Joelle Salon got the privilege of being the stylists for the Mad Hatter Fashion Show raising money for the American Cancer Society
Joelle Salon supports Breast Cancer Research at the Pink Party at The A-Loft Hotel in Homewood.
HEEL OVER TEAL event was put on by the Laura Crandell Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation. It was held at The Preserve in Hoover, Alabama on September 17th, 2011. Joelle raised money for the cause by applying Teal feathers which is the honored color for the Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
Samford University hosted a back to school event called Your School, Your City to allow freshman students to mingle and get acquainted while also allowing the previous students to get settles into a familiar routine. Joelle announced its services and products to all Samford Students. Most of Samford's students live out of town and Joelle wanted to bring them a piece of home.
The Southern Woman's Show was a weekend event with hundreds of vendors to show off their creative talents. It is a huge event known throughout the Birmingham Community. Joelle Salon and neighbors, The Clothes Tree by Deborah joined together to show off the latest styles in fashion and hair styles. It was a successful event and Joelle was able to show off it's extreme talent.
